What he said. You can spend all day arguing about the whys and ifs, but this planet is changing, and changing fast. One thing I find amusing is the "it happened before, so it is natural" people. That is all well and good, but last time there wasn't quite the number of people around.

It is going to get ugly, and it is going to at least start within the next few years, if it hasn't already.

PS, I really don't think there is much that we can do to stop it. All the "green" talk is just polishing the brass. The only thing that would make any real difference is serious population controls, but maybe that is what the flu thread is all about...
