5 hours to LCC/BCC

Unlucky me, I live in between Josh and Yosemite/bishop. Oh and needles and right by that damn beach with boulders all over it! Who would want to surf and ski in the same day anyway!

it gets pretty hot in the summer in Springdale/Zion but it is a super sweet place. The non-stop stream of tourists gets old but that is what supports the town so its hard to complain really. the nice thing is you can drop 20 degrees or so in the summer by driving an hour or two. the mormons aren't that big of a deal except for alcohol thing which i admit is annoying as hell. can you home brew there or is there lots of red tape?

I'd quit climbing if the Red wasn't here. There is not a better sport area in the US. period.
