I just saw Hustle and Flow and that was really good, I recommend it. I also just saw Donnie Darko for the first time and it was awesome.

We saw Blood Diamond last night. It's one of those movies that leaves you wondering how you can live in the same world as the people and situations the movie portrays. Djimon Honsou's intensity is beyond that which I've ever seen another actor portray. I was very impressed. I hope it opens some eyes - it definitely did mine, and I already knew a little about the sickness of the diamond industry.

Little Miss Sunshine was great, not at all the chick flick I thought is was going to be when my girlfriend dragged me out to see it.
Stranger than Fiction with Will Ferall was interesting and made me think a lot about weather it was a good movie or not and since it occupied my thoughts for a few days I decided it had to be good. In fact, I would not recomend this unless you dont mind entering a bit of a circular argument in your head.
A Skanner Darkly was also very good, but very trippy.
PS. Kudos to this post cus now I know where I can look for suggestions before I get to Wild and Woolie Vidio and stand there scratching my head.

I recently saw "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Stranger than Fiction" and I will add my endorsement. Not the best movies ever, but definitely worth renting.
I also just watched "Talledega Nights" which I thought was so-so. Just get "Anchorman" and be happy. That movie taught me never to camp with women because their menstruation can attract bears. Scary shit, yo.
Another good renter: "Primer" It's about a couple of guys that invent a time-machine. Sounds cliche, I know, but it takes a very interesting approach and they actually put some real thought into what steps you'd have to take as a time traveler in order not to really screw things up. Some of it is confusing and you may have to watch parts a couple of times, but I highly recommend watching it.
