I heard the new Seneca guidebook was better than the old one, but not by leaps and bounds. I guess he changed the color of the route lines from those invisible red lines to a more visible color, but I think I heard the pictures were still black and white. Still gotta give the guy credit though, its a lot of work. Plus, maybe there's not as much of a market for a Seneca guidebook as there is for a Red guidebook - probably more climbers at the Red now.
Actually, I was at Seneca yesterday...BEAUTIFUL day...I didn't climb there, I went backpacking for 3 days around Dolly Sods, and then we were hankering for some front porch pizza, so we headed to Seneca Rocks and ate there, staring up at the rocks. Really torturous to be at this place that I only get to go to rarely, and just get to look at it - but at least the pizza was good!
