my better half ha the same thing, do lots of opposing muscle exercises as has been suggested. One of the primary causes of these types of stress injuries is not balancing your muscle strengh.

Your mom should be able to hook you up with a good PT. He/she can help you with your exercise program. I'm assuming you are young. That's a definite plus! Good luck!

personally i'd go with both the opposition strengthing and the "really strong drugs," for a while at least. stretching cold muscles has always irratated my injuries. The really strong drug might allow you greater range of motion in order better work the opposition muscles - then - once you have warmed up a bit - do the stretching.
