Sending a check in the mail is a lot more dangerous than an encrypted transaction over the internet.

Christian, I'm with you - I kinda hope someone steals my identity, they may be able to do something with my finances...because they would have to before they could use my credit!

annual credit report site wrote:This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
Man, I went to all 3 companies and after filling out all the info they all said something like "We're sorry. We are unable to process your request online. We understand that the privacy and security of your information is important to you; therefore we cannot provide a specific reason as to why we cannot deliver your report online. Our registration process is designed to ensure that your online personal credit report is released only to you. Please note--Your personal credit report can be delivered only through the U.S. mail.".

Did you see the move "Fight Club". Did you cheer at the end when he blew up the credit card company records? I am a little embarassed to say the little anarchist in my head was jumping up and downwith joy.

I ordered 1. Also used the link to check my credit report and had no problems after answering the questions. printed out 7 pages on old, closed ,active accounts and even had my wife's too, even though she doesn't always use my last name.It was extra to get your credit score but I'm not that competive so i'm not sure if I won or not. Not sure of the prize either.. ok fine.... thanks for the beta

Oh yea...
I am donating the following from my profits:
25% to Tina Bronaugh as a token of appreciation for John's hard work on the previous two guidebooks
10% to Friends of Muir Valley for their dedication to building a killer climbing area

The publisher, Dave Pegg, is donating 20% of his profit to the RRGCC for obvious reasons.

So even if you're against guidebooks, at least you're helping out some good causes.

Wouldn't be the first time I've missed the obvious, but what is the obvious reason?

I'm thinking, just for starters....

....cause, like, maybe, the Southern Region is cool?
