While we're talking about weird oozing things - I want to ask if anyone knows what these X-Files looking things at Pistol Ridge are. I didn't get a picture, but they are a clear gooo material, like gelatin almost -- and that surrounds an orange ball. They were all over up at Pistol Ridge From Danger Mouse area down towards Dreams. Really weird looking. they were on the ground and attached to the under side of tree roots sometimes.

anyone know?

I just remembered, I got a picture.
Check it out and let me know what kind you think they are?

That's a double headed SCINned Horation Beatle! Those things start their lives attached at the rear and then one eats the other one completely. Cool shot, Jeff!

i don't know what everyone thinks is so funny. it's just two beetles that are obviously in love and showing their affection toward one another by comparing their excrement.

I had a burning spray once, but it wasn't on a climb. A few doses on penicillin and things cleared up.
