Spragwa. I'm with you. You couldn't drag me to a high school marching band show. I have driven as far as Madison Wisconsin for a top 12 DCI show however.

You guys were losers in high school. Band fags! I'm just kidding - I marched alongside the band with my flag/rifle, chiffon skirt, sequin vest and my Chuck Taylor tennis shoes (yeah, I got in trouble for that one).

Horatio: only if you march for the Madison Scouts or the Cavaliers which are two all male corps. Sorry, no offense meant dan. The show was great. Cadets won over the Cavaliers by .05 pts. Our local kids from Winchester, Southwind, put on a great show as well.

I was totally a band geek...except for the fact that I used to smuggle jack daniel's in my empty hair spray bottles on band trips and almost got kicked out of band camp for smoking. Ah, my tortured youth.

That sort of changes swapping hair products!
At work, DCI stands for a Design Change Initiative. Which means somebody messed up and the problem needs to be fixed. Definately rather be climbing than involved with a DCI.
Bands comps were fun, although getting busted by the band director (who worked with my dad) with some girls from another school kind of sucked.
