Hyahno, try not to get confused between a "good root" and a "good route". You'll likely have opportunities for both in the Red. Either way, it'd be best if you keep your harness on!!!

Also, leave the budgie smugglers at home. American's get are easily rattled and tend to get squeamish if your shorts are above the knee.

Did you find partners for your trip? I'm in the area visiting family and would be available to climb any or all of those days. I climb about the same grade, maybe a bit lower depending on the climb, but would of course be happy to belay you on a harder project. I also have draws and a 70m rope. Let me know if you're interested!
