registers on top of a short ass route in the red with a potential walk off is lame. don't get so worked up over it. not a big deal.

I heard a wood rat used it to make a winter nest.

You can walk casually up to Bonzo, you can also stroll up to Jewel Pinnacle.

Registers up there are trash, nothing more. I didn't take it, but I threw up a little in my mouth when I saw it last year.

this assumption is wrong. please refer to the 'who are you?' and 'dialed gear' threads. while climbing bedtime for bonzo you are not actually climbing trad at all and furthermore, you are not even a climber to begin with. this isn't even really a rock climbing website.

Huh. I've been up that route a few times over the last 5 or so years and I don't recall ever seeing such a register.

It may be dumb, but it's also kinda cool.

I remember a beautiful Autumn weekday afternoon, no one around but me and my partner. My first time on the route with perfect weather and we sat at the top enjoying the view and perusing the register. It was fun to see who else had signed, where they were from, when they climbed it and conditions (mental and physical). It added to the memory.

Look at it like bolts, you can ignore 'em or choose to use.

And for some, this may be their Everest.

i dont know who u are telling me im not a rock climber. i have been climbing the past 10 years in the gorge. if is not trad route then dont put in the guide book as a trad route. and if the climb is so easy for u go climb somehting harder
