planning ahead - Utah in October 2005

Post by Guest »

I need something to look forward to/work toward after all this knee surgery nonsense. I need a partner for a trip to the Moab area in Utah this coming Fall--October 15 to 23, 2005. The dates are firm, give or take a day or two. Any takers?

i might be up for that. let me solidify my schedule for July-December and I'll see how it fits in.

how are you planning on getting out there? flying to SLC? flying to Grand Junction? driving?

I may be moving back to Denver in August and if so... I will make the drive out. I'll keep checking back.

Been climbing out there lots.... wonderful wonderful. Been up to Castleton tower twice, but been thwarted by weather.

I think we are going to be there a couple of weeks before that.

I may end up being back out there this fall but I can't plan anything this early. I'd still go no matter if I found someone from here or not. Its easy to hook up with excellent climbers once you get there. Its the only place I have done that.

Sandy - I will be glad to join you. Shoot me a PM later on if you're still coming out, or need a place to stay for a night if you're coming from Denver.
I can probably round up a good friend/co-worker, Jeff Widen, who has plenty of FA's out there, he could show us around.

Are you going to rent a bus? I too may be interested in that trip. This is WAY too far in advance for me, though.
