I've only bushwacked in from C-Top Rd. once 16 years ago with Martin Hackworth. Crossing the river waist-deep in January would be easier! Keep your eyes appeal on the route! We salted pockets and crevices with about 50 Herkimer diamonds about 6-8 years ago! Some of them should be still there unless Rizzo carted them all off! If I every get out of Muir Valley again we'll resalt the route with more Glitters.

Thanks for the beta. Looks like the weather's getting warm enough for a little wading across the river now.

The big block at the top of the dihedral is the diamond.

Larry, can I post some of the old threads from KY WIlderness that I had talked to you about before? I know there are a lot of people that would enjoy reading them that weren't around then.

PM me and let me know yea or nay.
