Trench Town

Post by casamig »

I was wondering if someone could give me good directions to Trench Town as well as some decent beta on problems.

I recently hiked up there to check it out based on directions from an unnamed publication but doubt I was in the right spot.

I found some boulders but they were pretty dirty and crappy and didn't resemble the topo's I had.

Thanks a lot to whomever responds.

Miguel

Man dont even waste your time going back, if you used the lil blue paperback, you were in the right spot, the spot just sucks. Just about every boulder up there is dirty and crumbly. If you are lucky you may find 3 decent problems around that area and once you do them one time thats enough. I wouldnt have wasted my time writing the problems that are up there on a bathroom wall much less in a guide. Spend time going to other places that are developed or go find new stuff. I have exact directions at the house, if you still want them let me know and i will send them to you with the problems worth doing.

So when are you all coming back down.

The only good problem at Trenchtown is the V5. It's not far from the road so it's worth doing. The rest is garbage.

cant wait to see you all, its been awhile. We should be off this weekend and be able to make it to the Red. It will be the first time since we have been back. We went to Rocktown this last weekend and had a hell of a trip. You need to roll down there with us soon the weather was great.
