Nuff said.

I too would like to thank the community at large for the turn out and the good vibes. Thanks also to Captian Static and to all the others who volunteered their time to make this such a success.

I'd like to thank bob for the frosty cold alcoholic beverages!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

sorry I missed it. It looked like a really fun party. I dig Odub's groovey tunes.

Got to share:

Saturday afternoon as Gretchen, Brian, Aidan, and I were hiking up to Left Field to climb, we met Liz and Rick hiking out toting several large paper bags. "Have you had lunch?" Liz asked. Then she and Rick proceeded to pull out paper plates, napkins, and forks and fix us a nice plate of barbecue and brownies like it was something one always does out on the trail.

As if I needed one more reason to love those two!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Yup, Rick and Liz rocks! Those were the 'leftovers' from the bolting clinic, which was still very successful considering we only had one participant. He learned a good deal (or so he says), and so did everyone else who were giving the clinic themselves. Like they say, you learn something new everyday. We ended up putting 3 new routes at the Gallery and they all kick ass - the Gallery kicks ass! It was a great day hanging out with a great bunch of people and some of the geezers of the gorge - Tim Powers, Terry Kindred, Mike Susko - I meant that in an endearing way!
