My deepest sympathy and regards to the Bronaugh family,to you Ryan, and the community. Johnny definitely left his mark in the Red and will be remembered in the most high. I'm still in shock...
Sincerely,
Scotty.
My condolences Ryan. I really hope that those who loved Johnny find peace with his passing. He will be missed. Here's something that's been on my mind that I hope for you:
May you always walk through fields of flowers,
and if you one day find they are not in bloom,
may your God grant you the patience to wait for spring.
Jesus only knows that she tries too hard. She's only trying to keep the sky from falling.
very sad news. I didn't know John but his love and service to the climbers of the Red are very well known and appreciated a lot. My condolances to family and friends.

Although I have been involoved in climbing in the RRG since the early 60's, I only recently met John on trail day in the Southern Region. He was eager to setup new routes for others to enjoy, and even after a hard days work he went to work on a couple of them that evening. Recently, my wife and I met Tina, his son and him at the Playground climbing. John and his wife were instantly friends and I can only feel they were this way with all climbers and wanted them to enjoy the sport as much as he did. John's presence will always remain in the Southern Region for me. My sincere condolences go out to Tina and his family, and I feel his family extends to the climbing community at large from his perspective. I know we all will feel his absence.
Opportunities are seldom missed, someone will take them.
