Digital SLR?

Post by Wes »

Anyone have one? What do you think? I am pretty close to getting the cannon digital rebel, as I am kinda used to cannon. But I hear the Nikon d70 kicks ass. I am not looking to take picures for a coffee table book or the cover of SI, just better then with a point and shoot...

Chester? You switched to digital yet?

yeah she is on a nikon,, sweeeeet camera...what she did my wedding pics with

www.wrfj.com/wedding

and I have a digital SLR...it's a Minolta DiMage 7 - I love it. It's probably a step less professional than Chester's but it takes great pics...all the pics you've seen of mine have been taken on that. It's easy to use and you can mess with all kinds of settings if you want and it has a great 2x zoom to get those nose hair at the anchors shots.

I got mine last year on Overstock.com for an AWESOME price...
good luck

Check the photo forum over at kywildereness.com for a little insite from digital Rebel users.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
