OK - aaron - I will see what I can do to make this happen....I'll have Joe bring his stuff and I will see about another bottle of Tequila (to ease the pain) and we'll make you a star.

I am a nut when it comes to climbing shoes. I have made cement replicas of my feet that I store in my shoes, laced up, when I am not using them. The result is a shoe that is perfectly molded to my foot. I first cast molds of my feet with alginate. Alginate is that stuff they use to make impressions at the dentist's office. I was careful to squeeze my toes together as the alginate was setting up to mimic the shape they are in within the shoe. After the mold set up I pulled my foot out. I mixed up plain cement for the castings. Works great and now my feet don't kill me on those all day routes.

I'm a big fan of The Cobbler in NY. They resoled a pair of my shoes and they were like new when I got them. I just finished wearing throught the resole, and at no point did they start to peel. They weren't fast, but they were up front about it. I think the turn around was around 3 weeks, including shipping. Absolutely worth it.
