Does anyone know who does the *best* resoles? I'm not talking about some dude trying to start a resole business, or some dude who has been doing it for five years. I'm talking about the BEST resoler to send shoes to. The MASTER of resoling shoes. It seems to me that even *good* resolers still can't get the job done right these days. I always end up with the toe rand splitting from the half sole after a couple of weeks or the sole delaminating on the sides after a couple of days.
I'm looking for the best around.
Best resoles?

Screw you guys. I'm going bowling.
The rubber room did a crappy job last time for me. And I was even in Bishop at the time. I think they were just so busy, they didn't take the time to do a great job
Jason is good, and has never failed to do an excellent job for me, or anyone that I know of.

I've always had good luck with Rock and Resole in Boulder. usually come back better than the original sole. They are also pretty quick.
I sent a couple of pair to Rubber Room last time and didn't get the shoes back for 6 weeks. quality work but slow. I would call first to see what the turnaround time is before sending.

I also got a bad resole and slow service from The Rubber Room. I recently started using Crescent Resoler in Charlottesville, VA and they did an excellent job on my Anasazi Velcros. Friction Fix does a good nice job as well, but I would recommend that you give him an exact date when you need the shoes back--I had a not so good experience with that a couple years ago.
