We should make our own pornsite, it will be way better than Rays porn site, www.redriverclimbing.com

SHannon & I have been discussing this for awhile and with the soon to be new & improved site, we are hoping to move "official RRGCC Business" where it should be, at the RRGCC site. It has been a tremendous help to us to be able to post here but as we all have learned, it also has it's negative side as well. So in order to reduce this, let's keep it contained to the appropriate site and talk business there. Ray site is a fun place to meet people and chat where as the RRGCC is meant for information, education, events stuff, etc.
Please don't think I am going to enforce policing this site for discussion pertaining to access issues, etc. due to Gretchen's requests. I strongly encourage discussing *anything* you want to on this board..........especially climbing related issues. This does involve access issues, education and "serious" climbing talk. Gretchen is a member of the board just like you all so don't feel threatened if you do discuss access issues.
Sorry Gretchen, but I don't want people to think they can't discuss certain issues on redriverclimbing.com.

the other day I suggested that KD ask a RRGCC directed question on the RRGCC.org site. I want to emphasize what I said before, and back Ray up here: this board is open for the discussion of any and all topics. I was basically suggesting that the RRGCC should limit their official policy statements to the RRGCC.org site, for a number of reasons. Apparently the BOD was thinking along those same lines anyway.
That doesn't mean climbers shouldn't discuss these important issues on redriverclimbing.com, of course! Hell, it also doesn't mean that the RRGCC cannot post their announcements here if they want to do so.

hmm... It might have been a better sequence of events to take the site down, revamp it, then announce that all official statements were being posted there. (or, ideally, leave the old site up and prepare the new site 'behind the scenes', then swap them, but easier said than done!)
