Found two climbed cracks. Wondering who did them?
I stumbled across two cracks yesterday while hiking. One was a very attractive moderate looking left facing dihedral with bolt anchors. Its on a point of land between two small drainages on the north side of Big Sinking Creek west of the cool dome that is west and across Big Sinking from the Arena.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and/or the history of them? It looks as if they've been climbed fairly recently.
Next chance i get I might try to get back up there and get on them.

HF, you serious? If so did you give them names or should I be afraid to ask?
THe left one looks 5.8, the right one doesn't look 5.12 but looks can be deceiving.
The cracks join each other behind a large triangular block that leans against the cliff. There is some trimmed shrubbery at the base of the easier looking one. Sound like the same thing?
Dirt, show me a map and I'll point it out.

Wicked tribe, I believe that you are thinking about and 9- and a 9 that are to the right of the Solare Collector wall. Are they both pretty short to some webbing slung aroung the top of the big, witch-hat shaped, detached flake? If so, I think that they are in the guide book and called "Calming Curtis" and "Liken the Lichen".

No Loren, if you re-read my directions you'll see that this place is nowhere near the SC. I am familiar with those routes. Thanks for your input though.
Both do have bolted anchors though. And they're probably 70-80 feet long. The left one is slabby, the right one is steeper.
