weather from mid october to mid november

how's the weather normally like about mid october till mid november? we are a small group of swiss guys planning to go climbing in the gorge somewhen during that period. never been in that region before. what's the average temperature during those month? what is better? than earlier during that season than better? what is the best place to stay? would be great to hear from some locals what we can expect weatherwise from the gorge-area during late fall. many thanx

There are many websites that list seasonal averages for the area, google can point you in the right direction.

But generally its the best (and most crowded) time of the year to climb. High temps I guess would be anywhere from 50 f - 70 f??? And you will probably see rain at least one day if you are here for a week.

hej eric. many thanks for your reply. we checked out some cabins in the vicinity of slade and decided to stay there for this time.
