I wouldn't get my hopes up on wet monos or sandbags at a UC frat party. From my experience they are pretty easy and you can get a whole lot more than just one in there. They see lots of traffic to.

The pockets in Austin are so dank, sometimes they even drill little drainage holes in the bottom of them for the water to drip out.

Hey man,

I lived in Texas for a couple years and now I am living at the red. I climbed around Austin pretty frequently. Most of the routes I climbed were extremely short and felt more like a couple of stacked boulder problems. I don't think the routes are sandbagged at all...especially at Reimers Ranch. If you want to get some pitches in, pm me. I hope you have some endurance...

We've gota few longer routes now. Mostly traverses out in Reimers (even a 2 pitch traverse there coming off the start of liposuction). I hope I have endurance for this place too, good thing I quit smoking 3 weeks ago. I'll send you a pm with my phone number, the cabin we are at doesn't have Internets.

I remember moving here from Reimers almost 15 years ago. I had to drop almost two number grades to send anything.

Hope it's a good trip and you acclimatize faster than I did.
