The roads here are horrible. Basically you are going to die if you try to drive anywhere. The climbing here is pretty horrible too. Just stay home and watch TV; not worth it.

Meh.... live & learn. Moral of the story: comprehensive insurance is worth the extra $5 a month if you're gonna be spending much time in the southern region.

Oh, and to all the fairweather visitors not "in the know" this spring: do NOT leave ANYTHING valuable in your car while parked anywhere in the southern region!! Lee County is a largely poverty-stricken area and all your pretty iCrap is worth a lot to some people.

It was certainly implied to be of at least top priority (maybe not 1st priority) when the OP said in the post that started this thread, "how are the conditions of the gravel road for access to the Gallery?"

I'm just curious what she's so psyched on at the Gallery?! Maybe it's something I haven't done that I need to go check out (if it's within my abilities).
