For the record. Since the RRGCC initiated the purchase of the PMRP, no part has ever been "closed" to climbing. During the Rocktoberfest comp, we ask that those competing has first dibs on the sore heel parking lot. There is quite a bit of parking right off coal bank and the walk is surprisingly short.

Open access to climbing means open access to climbing (period)

Drove by lady slipper.....global village.....30 cars....laughed.......then drove by military, left flank....laughed harder.......then went to the zoo......4 cars. Pretty much whole crag to ourselves. Not my first choice, but population accomadation
Rock climbing is my answer when someone asks what I do for fun.

Climbed at the "What about Bob Wall". Only saw 4 total climbers there all day. They were doing the competition so they were moving pretty quick. We even accidently parked at sore heal. We had no idea it was supposed to be closed. The guy in the parking lot informed us as we got out of our car but he gladly told us it was no problem and let us climb.

Actually, Josephine said it was closed till 5pm. And the RRGCC sites wording made it sound as if the PMRP was "just for you" talking about the the comp. My perception was that the RRGCC didn't want people climbing there unless they were part of the comp on Sat, and to not climb at the walls with clinics on Sunday.
