Rainy day recommendations

Post by MarkM »

Any one have any rainy day recommendations for climbing 5.7-5.9 trad. I was looking at Long Wall and Autumn, but Autumn is really the only thing that interests me there.

I think those short easy routes on the right side of Dip Wall stay dry.

The two 5.7s "Green Eggs" and "Ham" at Dip Wall stay dry in an absolute down pour however all the tall weeds along the trail hang down in the trail and make you just as wet as if you were climbing in the rain. Kind of a long walk to just do two decent climbs also.

Does www.rainydayrockclimbingguides.com have access to Roadside through the preferred partner program?

i've noticed Doppler Effect stayed dry in a pretty heavy rain, it'd be fun to call it a 5.9 too
training is for people who care, i have a job.
