Half Dome rock fall, 5/27/11, Yosemite Valley
For those who have done the death slabs - you wouldn't have made it 5/27. You never know. I happened to utilize the death slabs a week after this same area came off the first time.

Climbing video thread, Vol. 1
Re: Climbing video thread, Vol. 1
I climbed H Dizzle on the 25th. Oh you have to love the death slabs... Way quicker, but a lot scarier!

Here are two videos from a recent summer trip Colorado for some bouldering.
1. This is a short video I put together of Daniel Brechner doing the first ascent of The Mutilator at Mt. Evans. This is destined to be a classic and is for sure one the best (and one of the few) moderates in the area.

2. This video is a litte more serious, and a lot better as far as quality of production is concerned. This video was filmed in a day by a friend and RRG local Allen Chaney.

This is a video from '05 of a trip to Hueco. This video was given to those in it but otherwise has not been seen. The video stars Jeremiah Lant, Jeremy Becker, Mike Wohner, and myself. There are 16 different problems from grades v3-10. I figure sharing is caring so here it is in four parts.

That was impressive. Really something to watch him climbing past all those perfectly good bolts.climb2core wrote:Now that takes some commitment.
No chalkbag since 1995.

That black bean film is a little weird... Kind of cool though.
