LouBrew! A new Louisville nanobrewery!

Post by jrathfon »

Hey Fellow Climbers,

I am starting a new Louisville nanobrewery called "LouBrew" that will create brews with a hand-crafted, single barrel spirit. We will offer a continually rotating variety of unique recipes to satisfy every beer connoisseur's appetite. I am getting started with a unique fundraising tool called Kickstarter, where people can pledge to help Kickstart the project, support a new local brewery, and receive some great incentives too!

So if you are interested, check out:

Kickstarter for more info.

Thank you!
Jeremy

p.s. Sorry for the blatant promotion, but I feel climbers like beer, so I'm spreading the word.

Pigsteak: A nano is community defined as brewers brewing on a system of about 3-4 barrels or less. And there are actually people already calling themselves "pico" breweries, generally these are people commercially brewing around 10 gallons per batch. I'm starting on a single barrel system, which is 31 gallons, or 2 normal kegs, or 6 pony "sixtel" kegs.

Here is the most up to date list of nanos:

They are spreading like wildfire!

The plan is to open up this fall, hopefully October maybe November, this really all depends on building and occupancy permits as well as ABC licensing, they are all big variables.

If you'd like to see a new craft brewer in town, please lend me any support you can muster: Kickstarter

And to keep updated follow the facebook feed (it's public): Facebook

Thanks guys!

I might spend a $100 for a mug if I could go drink beer in it after a day of climbing...
