don't abuse drugs; caffeine is a very powerful stimulant.
plus, it's way better to moderate usage--that way the effects are MUCH more pronounced when you do choose to use it. i try not to consume coffee on consecutive days if i can help myself.
if you are going for the big send, try abstaining from coffee for a few while beforehand. then drink a cup (doesn't matter how big) on the day you go for the send. you'll see the light..... and crush your project. but the effects wane quickly if you drink it all day, every day.

I hate the stuff. I've tried a couple times, and it tastes awful, and I'm not willing to spend the time acclimatizing by dumping in loads of sugar and cream. I drink water throughout the day, vanilla soy milk in my cereal, and orange or grapefruit juice on occasion when the mood strikes me. Sometimes I'll have some Bengal Spice tea in the afternoon at work (or at the crag on a cold day), but most flavors of tea taste bad to me, too.

1 cup of decaf every morning w/cream and sugar.
sometimes 2.
if i'm feeling really groggy sometimes i have 1/2 caffeine or occasionally i go with a cup or two of regular. on those days you know i'm really in trouble!
