No, you're right, Miguel's does get really busy, etc. That's obvious. I guess I'm just partial to the whole atmosphere there. Ah well. To each his/her own.

I get a lousy nights sleep there too Rainman.Friggin semis. I do enjoy having a drink with a bunch of friends around the firepit tho.It would be nicer if there was camping in a better location that didnt cost much more.It would need ample parking.

So, W-Tribe.
When you said this place might be within 5 miles of Big Sinkin' would that be closer to the red or closer to Beatyville?
I imagine that would make a diference.
I'm all up for a place to camp. (Hell, as soon as I find a good deal on a lot I'm takin' it.)
I think a well managed camp site that leaves alot of the trees would do well, that is, not like the state run or other existing camp grounds that look like they took a bulldozer to it and put everyone on top of one another. Also, NO RVs.
Oh man, he is messing that up. However, he is missing his left leg so that way would probably be harder for him. SCIN, just before spraying some beta for a climber doing a route the WRONG way.

Check out Lago Linda http://www.lagolinda.com/. I stay here every weekend(my roommate keeps his camper there), it's 5 miles from the motherlode parking area. It use to be a horse camp but Linda is tired of the high maintenance horse people and she wants to cater to rock climbers now. There are great-clean-restrooms with showers, a restaraunt (with AWESOME home cookin) and really nice cabins. Linda was just telling me this past weekend about all her plans for the place which will meet most climbers needs and budget! Look for the lago linda booth at Rocktober Fest!
Her web page is a little out-dated and I am sure her tent camping rates will change!
