hey anybody have or can recommend a guidebook for yosemite.

Though I'm assuming that you're talking about a big-wall guidebook, i have the Supertopo Yosemite Valley Bouldering guide by Matt Wilder and it is stellar. Supertopo books are really comprehensive and have good pictures.
