i go once a week to socialize, and to try not to lose what little bit of power or stamina i built last week.

no training, no projects.... i don't even project outside why the hell would you do it in a building!?!

(edit) my lazy ass just read the post above and i guess i need to be added to the "pathetic" column

Can I have a project at Eden park? Is that a gym or outside. Maybe an outside gym?

hey, as stupid as it sounds, I have a bit of a "project" in cherokee park. Theres one line on some of the only decently solid rock about 15-20ft with a hard dyno to a crimp. It's hard(for me) works on my weakness(footwork and crimps) and gives me a good pump in the middle of the week without going to the gym. Does that add me to the pathetic column?

You need an option for "have fun" and also an "all of the above" as well. Training, climbing, and having fun is what the gym is all about.

Hell yes, I second this! That's why I go anyway. I do have gym "projects" as well. I'm not sure how it wouldn't be a proj if it's something "currently" above your limit that you have to try multiple times until you can get it.
efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening

Wes, I am with you. Life is short and having fun is what should be done after a hard day at work. Fun can be inside or outside, some take climbing way too seriously.
