Training, and I do consider certain routes in the gym projects. My whole attitude toward training has changed over the past year, though. A year ago I would've voted "climb."

I say climb, just because I'm pretty busy, so rather than spend time specifically training (although I know it would probably be more effective), I'd rather just climb and enjoy it. Doesn't remotely compare to real rock, but its more fun climbing and working out ceartain routes than running the same three boulder problems 8 times in a row just to build endurance.

agreed. i said climb because i definitely don't follow a training schedule in the gym--that would drive me crazy. the gym is bad enough as it is because it is not outside.... so when i'm in there i'm "climbing," but wishing i was on real rock.
