I thought you progressives looked out for the little guy. For some reason Joe the Plumber drives you f'ing insane, and you'll not rest until he's destroyed. It would be funny if you weren't so pathetic in your blind hatred of a guy who has dreams of success, and wants to have a chance to realize those dreams.

I do agree with Day on this one. The democrats pulverizing of Joe is very pathetic, given that he was the man on the street with dreams. Seems to me that the more approriate answer would have been to acknowledge that the parties merely have differing ways bringing success to ordinary folks. but to lay him out to dry is just more political BS as usual. Too bad Obama couldn't get outside the beltway on this one.

The taxes that BO is proposing for JtP is not going to break him. The entire discussion is a red herring. Make a $ in the old USA and pay your taxes. Let's tax the churches especially the megachurches. This country's taxes are obviously not high enough because we have a deficit.

Why are the same people pro spending tax dollars in war and against paying taxes. Seems like people who are against paying taxes ought to be against spending the warbucks.

Caribe, The point is this. Joe was passing a football in his own yard with his kid. O bama comes down the street to meet and speak with "the people". Joe asks The Anointed One a question and gets a revealing answer. For that crime O bama's minions have ridiculed Joe, violated his privacy and his civil rights. The people who have illegally pryed into Joe's privacy are likely ones who scream bloody murder about the government listening in on phone calls from suspected terrorists. Nice double standard, don't you think?

Standard Repub contractor (no Liscense, wants to pay no taxes, the rules do not apply to him just other people.) Probably looking for a grant or a hand out from the people he wants to pay no taxes to.
He does appear to be stupid enough to make a heck of a shit fiitter one of these days if he can buy his self a liscense probably couldn't pass the exam....

Is that the hate you were hoping for scary day ?

and caribe, I think we are onto something here. I 100% agree for taxation, but FAIR taxation. like the sales tax. or a flat tax. pay for your consumption. think about it...a married couple with one child can make $20,800 and pay how much income tax? that's right kiddies...ZERO. now, 20,800 ain't a heck of a lot, but by god, they should pay into the system they use.

new rule, if you don't pay federal income tax, you can't vote. the democrats would lose every election. you should pay income tax to have a voice.
