So provided the weather is crappy and some of you are looking for somthing to do this weekend other than fight the throngs of idiots on the waterfront.
come check out the insomniacathon 2008 at the Rudyard Kipling, It's between 6th and 4th steet on Oak st.
28 hr nonstop poetry, spoken word, and music festival. All proceeds go to the Rud for ther service to louisville as one of the great local venues, and the leg up they have given to so many local artists.
It's going to be fun lots of people and a real laid back crowd.
check it out and party with me on my birthday!!!

well genious if you would read the link, the venue is not sponsering the show. The preformers, other private sponsers and my company are paying for it. we dontate the proceeds to THEM!!
so check your facts before you post.
I guess it's hard for you to be funny when you have your foot in your mouth....oh wait.....

why does everyone say cheers now? I don't get it, is it cool? Char - you are the only cool kid on here, help me out. I had at least five Big Sky patrollers say that to me last night at a drunken Patagonia slide show at my work. And what do you say back to someone after they say it to you? DO you say Thank You? or Ok? And by the way, The Rud is a rad venue. I have seen many quality musicians there... Hopefully they aren't having financial woes anymore?
