In my limited experience with sterling, their ropes tend to be stiffer and also typically hold less falls for their diameter than a mammut or a beal. Sterling seems to be cheaper though, so I guess you could buy more of them and replace them more often.

Traditionally I've always been a mammut fanboy, even though they tend to be a bit expensive, they are really nice ropes. And after reading up a bit, I'm really starting to like beal, and want to get a beal soon.

At 215 pounds, I like a strong rope.

edelweiss and sterling are good ropes. My edelweiss ropes last longer than my sterlings.

Oh, and by the way, Hoosier Heights is having a 15% off everything including special orders and memberships until 12-31. shipping only $5 including drop shipping!

(Edelweiss "Axis" 10.3 60m, dry, $169 - 15%.... $143.65 + $5 to your door $148.65 add $20 for 70m :)
Oh man, he is messing that up. However, he is missing his left leg so that way would probably be harder for him. SCIN, just before spraying some beta for a climber doing a route the WRONG way.

Shamis, you should check out the Axis by Edelweiss. One of my climbing partners is 230 lbs and his holds up great.
