Cashed in most of the remaining vacation days for 2007, dipped into a good bit of my savings, and all in all I am pretty bummed to be back here in my life, not climbing in RMNP, surrounded by all this freakin humidity!!!!!!!

Clear weather for kids on the Diamond.....


For that matter, pretty good weather most every day.....

Quentin wondering what I'm thinking, hitting Sundance again and taking him all the way up there....


A couple miles and 6 pitches later we top out, he seems jazzed.....


The hike out, moon rise of our last day, fully worked over......


So happy I got the eff out of town!!!!!!!


For those of you who suggested I stay here in this played out cesspool of a summer, what the french were you thinking??????

nice charlie....the hike into sundance is a bear, eh? we got benighted, our headlamps quit working, and we had to sleep at the base one night in shorts and tshirts...pretty chilly night, but well worth those climbs.

Sundance is a long hike for sure, even longer from the new lot. Hiking at about 9K ft is quite a bit slower too.

When you get there it is rad tho, that buttress is so tall!!!!!!!!!! Those routes are so exposed, I think that Fri climbing w/ Q was easily one of my favorite climbing days ever!
