Face to face contact with the people climbing on the PMRP.
Its better to look someone in the eye and tell them that climbing isn't free, explain the RRGCC mission, and the PMRP. Educate and inform on a personal level.

E-mail or snail mail current RRGCC members.
Constituent services. This is what keeps certain Republican congressmen/women in office (at least in KY) and has long been a complaint against the RRGCC. Sure people could search out the info if they wanted to, but unfortunately you gotta spoon feed it to them.

Place appropriate info up on the various kiosks.
In case someone actually takes a moment to read something. With all the new development going on in Sore Heel, updated topos on that kiosk could draw climbers in so that they might read about the PMRP and how to donate to the cause.

To quote my friend Black Francis "That's EDUCATION!"
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

huge signs are a great idea in the parking lot...something that says "free climbing isn't free"

or better yet, make climibng in the preserve by members only. you pay $50 a year or go somewhere else. man, would I be a great board member or what?

I think you would be a great board member, are you up to the challenge?

there is a lockbox at the Solar Collector kiosk but I'm pretty sure it just has the proceeds of our social security for the next 30 years- I think it has Al Gore's fingerprints if any tree huggers want to sniff it
