rocktown water

i'm going to rocktown for the weekend with 4-5 people and was wondering if there is any water ontop of the mountain, or if it's haul your own. thanks

haul your own up. the BP? at the railroad crossing has a faucet outside. just ask they are cool with it usually. uncle jeds used to let us fill up. ask inside.

the ranger station also has a public faucet. there is a stream at the start of the trail, make sure you boil/filter or whatever to make potable. just invest in a 10 dollar 7 gallon container at walmart and you will be golden for days.

you and amy should come on down matt, the weather looks perfect fri-sun of climbing and ignoring school bliss. heck, we might even catch some fall colors
