Sportiva Shoe Demo

Post by ASG »

I am trying to plan a weekend to do a shoe demo for Sportiva. I want to base at Miguel's (I need to talk to him still). Maybe one day of Labor day weekend. I wanted to see how the idea sounded to some of the climbers. At the Red, I would have to get an ID or Card or something to make sure I got those shoes back! I am also doing one at Rocksport in Louisville, probably the Wensday after Labor Day (I am waiting to hear back from Rob).

Let's see, new driver's license costs $8, new shoes, $100. Hmm, I suspect you won't get some of the shoes back.

New Driver's License cost $28 dollars. When's the last time you renewed?

Great idea Andrew!

Not for a renewal, a duplicate is $8.
I want some Muiras, Andrew. Let's make a deal!

OOps. New ones are $24 and renewals are now $12. Fees changed last year :)

AS long as you keep track of who has which shoes, you have an address, you could always make us sign a mini-contract and bill whomever 'forgets' to return the shoes, i don't foresee this as being a problem honestly, but accountability and liability could be key motivators. we may be poor, but i suspect most of us are honest and appreciate the chance to crank in some new gear. i like the idea of coming back for rocktoberfest, definitely better timing than this weekend, i'll be in chicago for a wedding. Good luck with the demo, drew.
