Sierra's travels

Post by Huggybone »

Got on this route saturday-
I looked at it, it looked like a pile
It climbed kinda like a pile (irregular crack, tricky gear, friable looking rock)
Yet for some reason it was so fun I can't get it out of my head.
Get on this route if havn't

Heard it on NPR also makes it worth the trip.

That's the one rope stretcher pitch (or "two pitch") route right Huggy?
That's a nice route.

Yeah. a 70m rope will greatly simplify things for NPR. We had to have one climber climb up, while the other was a counter weight, then start the belay. After a few tr runs, the rope stretched enough to reach the ground.

It is a nice route. Not too many 100 foot, one pitch routes have I done. It was cool.
