Dogs
We are not talking about keeping rabed attack dogs with AIDs off the leash. Like I said if my dog ever bit anyone or was aggressive or scared somebody there is no questions she would be tied up or at home. But she has never done any of those things. She responds to commands and she has never showed any aggression toward people or other dogs so I feel that others are safe with her off the leash.

I'm talking about what happens when good dogs go bad/stupid/rabed and they are off the leash. I will pet your dog and I could care a less about walking on a rope or running around thats what dogs do, but if they threaten me or my Girl then we got issues. So untill then bring on the dogs!!!!!!!!!

Diggum is 100% right and that is why we need to have a big brawl. I talked to Miguel today and at first he was hesitant. But then I explained to him how important this issue was to the community and he agreed that a brawl was really the only way to solve it. So Sat night it is on!!!!!!Nothing anyone says is going to change anything.
However, he said no one can die, even accidentally. So if there are any big guys who want to bounce(and don't care about dogs one way or another) that would be good. If someone is down and just getting beaten ruthlessly maybe pull them out. or if someone gets thrown in the fire then pull them out. we don't want excessive carnage, we just want to settle the dogs at the crags issue and have a good time doing it.
He also reiterated that no firearms were allowed, so don't even bring them in your car, cause tempers can get heated and we don't want a body count.
as for sides, we are not picking teams, if you want dogs at the crags you are on one side and if you don't you are on the other, so sorry pigsteak, gunslinga, manimal and stephy. I need you guys to really think hard about what your true ideological position is and fight for what you feel is right.
lets do this sat night and settle this once and for all.
maybe we can have the forrest service adopt the results of the brawl and incorporate it into their rules.

It's a non-violent suggestion for handling the situation because we can't always expect others (especially non-humans) to behave or respond the way we prefer. I do, just like you and everyone else who is responsible, And I mis-understood you on the suggestion as well, I apologise.. I thought you were saying it's just part of the Gorge experience to have to fend off attacking/overzealous dogs with vinegar water, so live with it and be prepared for it... I believe in total responsibility for myself, my group, and or my animals, I won't allow anything I'm involved in become a danger, nuisance, or pain in the ass to those around me, its called the ripple in the pond philosophy, if I make waves, it affects everyone in the pond with me....I thought most climbers carried water anyway
