it's on..I want to be on Merrick's team.

(PS- It really isn't an "ethical" question brah. It's about courtesy, and remembering that no one loves your dog like you do.)
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

I was also at Solarium on Sat. But my dog was leashed all day. I saw your dog leashed as well. The cool thing about a leashed dog is that is doesn't bother you, so you don't even notice it.

People with dogs need to understand that not everyone has the same opinion of dogs. If you look at the poll results the majority of the people don't want dogs running around at the crag unleashed, that means something. Everyone's dogs act differently around their owners then they do strangers. Dogs hate being on leashes and people don't like to listed to unleashed dogs running around in a herd barking, walking over ropes, running down hills to chase sticks, getting into their pack and eating food, etc.

You can say this thread is meaningless, but that is just the dog people saying that they will do whatever they want and ignore what may be an opinion held by a large amount of people. In which case, don't get mad the next time I kick your dog for stepping on my rope.

I'd take a crag full of dogs over a crag full of people any day.

Does he have a strange bear claw like appendage protruding from his neck? He kep petting it.

Yikes!

Just as with most polls the potential answers are heavily biased.
No where do I see an option for "it depends on the situation".
I know a super-ton of wonderful crag dogs.
I also know a couple of poopy crag dogs.

Where they get their behavior I'm not willing to pontificate on.
However, as was stated in the other thread, we are all on this planet together and should at least try to get along.

The readiness to resort to *violence* just makes me sad.

On the other hand it is giving me great tidbits to throw into my psychology class.
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I'd take a crag full of dogs over a crag full of people any day.
I think I just generally prefer the company dogs over most people...except when one of my dogs has a barking fit.
