Climbing in Oregon
After 3 years it looks like my purgatory in Northwest Ohio will soon be coming to an end. The gods have seen fit to place me in Portland, OR for the next 2 years. Does anyone have any experience climbing in the region or know what the climing climate is like? Thanks.

Scaphoid fractures can be bad. It's blood supply is more complicated than most bones and it has a much higher rate of non-union (i.e. non-healing) than most other fractures. I want a woody in my garage
So I've been thinking about building my own little bouldering wall in my garage since the nearest gym is almost an hour away and rock is much farther. Would it even be worth the effort if I can only go about 8' high? How big are home walls usually?
