I live in Cville and like others have said, there isn't a whole lot here. The New is about 3.5 hours, the Red about 6.5. I usually go the Red because I hate always getting rained out at the New. Seneca is only about 2-2.5 hours though, which is nice. You can also clip some mediocre bolted lines at F...

But, gulliver, how is maintaining a permanent underclass going to help you from losing your job to people who will do it cheaper? gunslga-- I understand there are many reasons peple don't like undocumented immigrants in this country. I was just trying to point out that I personally think the tax argument is a weak one and based on misconceptions about what taxes are being paid and who is responsible for paying them. pigsteak--...

It is a very common misperception that undocumented immigrants don't pay taxes and are otherwise a drain on the tax base. Whether you are documented or not, you still pay sales tax when you buy something at the store, right? Whether you are documented or not, you still pay either a mortgage or rent ...

I use the speedplay zeros and highly recommend them--particularly if you have any kind of knee issues. Although I don't have any knee issues so don't get much extra benefit from the float, I could see where the float on the speedplays would really help someone who has bad knees and be a good thing t...

I read the article today. Made my palms sweat just thinking about it. I thought it was interesting that he said the hardest pitch was one of the ones that was rated the easiest on the climb--the 5.8 smearfest on the 6th pitch. I've done a few climbs in the Needles and by far the scariest one was the...
