Re: Lost Rain Jacket - Drive By?
A friend of mine is parked at the Chocolate factory. If you see his truck on your way out, you can stuff it under the windshield wiper. Gray Toyota Tundra with cap, Ohio plates GVP2646. I might have him try to find you at Drive By if he leaves early. If you don't see him no big deal, don't go out of...

Lost Rain Jacket - Drive By?
I may have left a gray Arcteryx rain jacket at or on the way to Drive By last Saturday (4/1). If anyone has seen it, let me know. Will reward with much beer and/or Cocoapuffs depending on preference. Thanks!

Re: Attention New School climbers
Also motivates me to climb harder and become better so I can get on the routes no one else is on on a busy day. I hate to be a downer, but that's not really true at the Red anymore. When the weather is good at the Red, you can expect lines on ALL the classics, no matter how hard they are. Go to Dri...

Re: Climbing Wall "Epidemic"
If "non-curriculum items" includes bloated administrative staff, insane landscaping, out of control presidential salaries and spending, luxury student housing AND rock-climbing walls, then yes they spend a staggering amount on those things.

Re: Climbing Wall "Epidemic"
I'll preface this by saying I think Christie is a complete shitfuck. That said, I think it's being blown out of proportion. As I understand it, he's saying colleges spend too much on perks that aren't education, he just happened to cite climbing walls as an example of friviolous spending. Still a du...

Re: ROADSIDE IS NOT OPEN - IT IS CLOSED
Let's just remember that, as a group, our treatment of Roadside was deplorable. On private land, you are not entitled to jack shit. That's the fucking rule. You are a guest, period. Many people fundamentally do not understand this, and if closing crags is the only way to beat it into their heads the...

Stop it. This is a great discussion on complex topic - do not drag this shit into it.ynp1 wrote:This is great! Now, the only question is... When will our buddy Rick close Muir Valley! He is starting to look a little crazy on here... Well unless he keeps deleting and changing his post...
