Hey Peter. I will be coming into Louisville tomorrow. Do you think it will be too hot on Saturday to climb?

old climbing partner turned out to be an asshole. Climb 8/8

Anyone want to climb at the red on Saturday? I will be coming in from Louisville (the airport, actually)- so if I could hitch a ride, it'd be even better. We'll share gas and driving, of course.

Nah, my friend can belay- just haven't really climbed much. And I can setup natural anchors- that's pretty much what we have to do here in the DC/VA area.

So, it sounds like Indian Staircase would be my best bet. Cool. I will look it up on the guidebook, which I still have to buy.

Ah, I was hoping to get a sweet reply listing tons of places that I can TR. hehe. But, thanks so much for the info, guys. I can clean up to 5.10's, but I just started leading - so my nerves still get the best of me when I'm leading higher than 5.7s. That's why I just want to TR. :)

Setting up top rope without leading?

Hi,

I will be visiting a non climber friend in Louisville in Apr and would like to take him out climbing. I prefer to set up top rope without having to lead it and just show my friend a good time on the wall. Any ideas on what routes would be good for that purpose? :)

Thanks!
Lavina
