Re: Climbing partner 15th june -17th june 2018
I can climb 15-17 June. I am having some trouble sending pm's ; there are sitting in my outbox. Please email me if you are still seeking a partner: I prefer moderate, multipitch trad, but down for whatever. Lead ability caps at probably 9s trad, 10s sport. But lots of experience and very familiar wi...

Climbing carpool from NKY
Seeking climbing partner(s) in the NKY/CVG area. Any weekends between 15June-15July My vehicle is less than reliable, and am located in NKY. More than willing to cover gas, etc... I prefer moderate, obscure, multi-pitch trad, but down for whatever. Sport/Trad leading ability caps at in the 10s nowad...

Re: RRG Whipper videos on Rock and Ice website
Did not watch 'cleaning' video to clarify. Read title and was disturbed; and here I am trolling the internet... I have had my share of climbing fails/lessons learned...I caution others to think about which ones they share on the World Wide Web.

RRG Whipper videos on Rock and Ice website
RRG climbers,
Please stop posting whipper videos to Rock and Ice. Taking a whipper on a 5.6 trad route, or while cleaning does not make you cool; you should be embarrassed and ashamed...
Do not post these online; or at least don't claim to be a climber of the gorge.
Thanks
proud RRG climber.

Buddy checks, a thing of the past?
In the last 6 months or so, I have climbed with a half dozen or so new partners, both indoor and outdoor, different walks of life, and various skill level ... None of them seem to have the habit of doing a redundant check on their own knot/belay system, or of their partner. Nothing verbal, visual, o...

Re: Ye Olde Booty Thread
JUNGLE PIRATES!!! Got on junglebeat several weeks ago. Bailed on my anchor from the first ledge, because my partner was unable to make it up the first pitch. I recently returned with reinforcements to regain my Anchor. It seems my gear has been bootied. I AM WILLING to negotiate the safe return of m...

Environmental Impact of Rock Climbing
I'm doing a Biology seminar on the environmental Impact of Climbing. Are there any particular issues you think should be addressed?
