Bring your old retired rope that is taking up space at home and be entered to win a Brand New Sterling Evolution 9.8mm 60m rope!
There will be a collection box at the RRGCC kiosk in front of Miguel's during the event sign-up Friday night and Saturday morning and evening. The winner of the Sterling Rope Redemption Recycling drawing will be announced at 8:30 Saturday evening!!

All entries must be submitted by 8:00 p.m. Saturday night.

Only legitimate ropes will be entered into raffle, ie an 8 foot dog leash does not count !!

I still want my free headlamp from Rocktoberfest!

in all seriousness, a huge THANK YOU for those tireless behind the scenes folks who pull this stuff off.

and for the slackers who come to party and not help out, at least donate some cash. (why does my diplomacy always make me sound like anticlimber...bitter and lost)

or you can give me your old retired ropes too....

i got my "retired" rope out of the box last weekend and realized it's in better shape than my current rope

You could also weave a cool rug with your old rope.

What he meant to say was it was a pleasure to help out and if there was a headlamp deal he was mistakenly left out of, he is interested in any options there might be to correct the oversight if it is not too much trouble on anyone who has to do the legwork.

i use my old ropes to swallow and pass through my body...no harness for all of my cutting edge sends. my cat's breath smells like cats food.
