Anybody else try the new Adobe Photoshop Express that is online now? You can upload photos and edit them online. It even allows you to store your photos and view them on an online gallery. Anybody else use this site for anything?

Just took a quick look, and it doesn't look too bad - not a lot of control over the edits, but not bad. Sorta reminds me of iphoto. So, if you don't have a mac, and you don't want spend the $80 for elements, then it might be worth looking into.

I also have fallen prey to the evils of Apple and their iMac (with CS3).
However I saw this, which talks about possible digital rights when using Express

Supposedly they will be changing that soon due to the huge backlash.

yeah, i got a mac too. MacBook Black to be exact. just heard about PS Elements on the web and gave it a try.
It seems a lot like iPhoto in a way (Wes, you may feel free to let me have it on this one), so it seems like six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Yep, but at least Iphoto and your photos are local to you, not a a server that you have to be hooked to the net to use. iphoto is pretty good at organizing photos, but the editing is pretty basic. If you want to do a little bit more with your photos, then PS elements is good, they just released a new version. Also, maybe check out
http://www.pixelmator.com/ as well. I use aperture and CS3, but most people don't need to spend that much $$$.
