I think this belongs to the political thread :D .

One political thread would be fine with me, less worthless shit I have to wade through to read about climbing. That is why we come to this site, right.

Things were fine before, I knew what I was going to read If it was a Larry or Alan post. And I didn't think it took anything from the forum.

forum freedom! Anyways we already have a forum for non climbing and thats where these posts were being placed.

I liked it how it was but a seperate forum might be even better. If it's seperate, people who are bored by it can easily avoid having to "wade through" the various threads.

I've only been on the board for a short time, but I happen to be interested in politics these days and I like to read some of the poliical threads if I'm interested in the topic.

One thread won't be enough to cover all the multiple political topics. If they're all on one thread, I think it will be a mess and I'll have to wade through the posts that are not on the subject I'm interested in plus people won't want to stay on one topic at a time. In other words, instead of being more orderly it will be less.

Some people say who wants to talk about politics on a climbing site, why not just go to some other forum? Well I like the fact that here it's only semi anonomous and I may actually know some of the people I'm disagreeing with. That makes it more fun whether we're talking climbing or not. Make it a seperate forum so that non politicos can avoid it easily.

The way it is is fine, but to cater to those who don't like it, I think a new forum should be fine. One thread will be extremely hard because there are so many different topics.

how about just dividing it into two threads, climbing and non climbing.

all politics, religous stuff, birthday wishes, dog pictures, wine tastes, concert reviews go in one thread.

all hard sends, climbing pics, euro lies, belay advice, partner hunts, pink cam advice, and bolt war debates should be the other thread.

we need to simplify folks.
